KISS

This book was written by Jacqueline Wilson. Jacqueline Wilson’s book was quite interesting and fun and this was in my expectation.

This book is a story about two friends who used to play with each other since they were very young and their friendships begins to break up. Do they going to recover their friendships?

Sylvie and Carl, who are the best friends, they played for a long time and call each other girl friend and boy friend and they have their own story that they wish to publish this book. They act those stories to make a smooth story but since those stories were made since they were young, those stories are too childish for them as they are teenagers.

As they grow up and up, they begin to change as they try to make other close friend. Carl tries to make a new friend called Paul, who’s good at sports and Sylvie try to have another friend called Miranda who’s a rich girl with many friends. One day, Carl, Paul, Miranda and Sylvie go bowling and Sylvie is jealous with Paul as they are quite close each other. Sylvie’s friend, Miranda tries to know many things about Carl and come to Carl and Sylvie’s glass house. Glass house was the secret play of Carl and Sylvie since they were young and they kept a lot of reminiscences on there. On Carl’s birthday, Miranda gives him a present of the glass toy which Carl loves a lot. Miranda invites Sylvie to her house and they get closer to each other.

One day, Sylvie, Carl, Miranda and Paul went somewhere together and they are separated into Carl and Paul, Sylvie, and Miranda. The day after, there was a big accident as the glass house is collapsed and Carl gets little bit of injury. Sylvie and Miranda take care of Carl carefully and Sylvie realizes their friendship. Sylvie and Carl realize that they really love each other and end their fantasy story with this. ‘And King Carlo and Queen Sylviana will always live together and love each other.’

This book had quite interesting story and I liked this story as they are best friends.

This book is in the library so you can borrow here
